Introduction: Primrose Writes is Back
Hello everyone,
It’s been quite some time since I posted on this website or any of my social media accounts, and honestly, I have missed this space dearly. Life took me on an unexpected journey. During that time, I struggled with my mental health and stepped back to recharge. Although much time has passed, I’m thrilled and scared to announce that Primrose Writes is being reborn.
Why I Stepped Away

My feed was filled with poets sharing wonderful poetry that made me feel my own words were inadequate. My words felt small compared to the emotions that transcended from the pieces I saw online. I contemplated deleting everything and letting my thoughts stay unvoiced, and in some way, I did.
The blog’s content got deleted. I nearly deleted all my social media only to realize I was running away. I was running away from the fear of rejection and the fear that my writing wouldn’t convey the emotions I wanted or provide the clarity I wanted others to find. Because of this, I struggled to see the value in my words and the value I could provide to others.
I’ve always wanted this space to be a haven for me and each person who found this blog found solace in what was written. And I couldn’t achieve this if I kept running away. To grow, I must keep moving. To make a difference, I must keep writing, and to create a haven, I must be honest.
At this moment, I’m practically starting from scratch, but I won’t run away. To find myself, I need to write freely and believe that my words will reach where they need to be. This may be a new beginning, but it’s the first step to something bigger.

What’s Changing
1. A New Look and Layout:
I’m recreating the blog to create a more welcoming and navigable space that reflects the new vision for the blog. The blog’s visual appearance may change as I find my comfort level, but the overall ease for my readers will always stay.
2. More Focused Content
I have a clearer goal of what I want to achieve in life and with my writing. My content will be tailored to reflect this so that you are a part of this journey.
3. A New Slogan
🥀 The old slogan was: “Finding & Releasing the me within.”
🌹 The new slogan is: “Poetry, Prose and Personal Growth.”
While reflecting, I realized that I was focusing on finding something wrong with me. I know I have my flaws but I was so focused on finding a version of myself that I lost focus of what was around me. This slogan encompasses the growth I want to achieve and the work I want to do.
What’s Staying the Same
❣️ The vision, heart, and soul will remain the same. It will still be a place where unfiltered emotions come to rest and the words of another connect us all.
📜 The raw, unfiltered words that show vulnerability and growth.
🔍 Personal reflections and stories about life and growth.
Why the Change?
This rebrand represents a deeper commitment to my creative journey and a desire to bring you content that resonates and inspires.
